Hello and Welcome! First off, I want to thank you for stopping by my website to view my art! These custom knives are created by hand with a lot of thought, care, dedication and time that is required to put out a beautiful piece of art. You may order a knife that will do the job at hand, but there's nothing more pleasing than having a custom made knife you had by having your ideas intergrated with the build. A custom built knife is a whole new experience everyone should have. There's nothing more gratifying like owning a custom made knife that you and the maker collaberated in making, seeing and holding the finished knife is a wonderful feeling!

 

A Tatanka built knife is designed, annealed, normalized, heat treated, and tempered by me. The method I use in making my knives is mainly stock removal, but I may occasionally forge my blades. I only use the finest steels for my knives. My knives are a one of a kind piece of art, every knife is unique in it's own way. Excellence is the standard I strive for, therefore every knife will be made above and beyond. I'm a perfectionist in all aspects of my work.

 

Custom knife makers are artist, we take materials and create pieces of art that is pleasing to the eye and the best thing is they are to be used. So with every knife, it should look good and feel great in the hand. It has to be fuctional to where the user will feel comfortable, confident and trust its performance.
